Kristina Zuck

Acupuncturist

Kristina began her now lifelong study of the Chinese healing arts shortly after completing her undergraduate education at the Newark campus of Rutgers University when she started the internal martial arts practice of tai chi chu’an. When faced with a personal illness, and at the advice of her sifu (teacher), she sought treatment from an acupuncturist.  That first acupuncture treatment changed her life.  With encouragement from her sifu and her acupuncturist  (now mentor), Kristina enrolled at Pacific Institute of Oriental Medicine in New York City. By the time of her graduation in 1999 the school had become Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Kristina was awarded a Bachelor of Professional Studies, Acupuncture and a Master of Science, Acupuncture. That same year she was also certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Acupuncture.

Kristina prides herself on being a healthcare professional with a solid comprehension of the principles of both Traditional Chinese medicine as well as osteopathic (“western”) medicine. Throughout her career she has successfully implemented protocols designed to provide support for cancer patients as well as patients receiving ART/IVF treatments.  She has treated patients to restore function and alleviate pain following injury and  during orthopaedic rehabilitation often working with other health care providers such as physical therapists and chiropractors.  Above all Kristina considers herself a compassionate guide called upon to help reignite the body’s limitless self-healing powers and start each patient on the infinite path to health.

Born and bred in NJ, Kristina lives in Monmouth County with her husband.
